This morning I woke up earlier than I expected. My body is just so used to waking up at 5:30 that 6:30 is sleeping in for me now. Luke and I went to get breakfast down in the hotel lobby before starting the day. The first thing on my to do list was so get laundry done along with any other errands while I’m at it. While we were out and about we got breakfast again! I think that this was the best meal I’ve had on the entire trail so far. I got Salmon Benedict from Silver Lama and a Bloody Mary from the Treeline Bar next door. Luke and I walked around to all the shops on Main street. I was looking for some post cards to send and we both wanted to check out the Melanzana store! We both ended up getting the same color hoodie except mine is a dress. I felt really funny walking around wearing matching outfits all day. For dinner we grabbed some pizza and salad and met everyone for a drink at the bar across the street from our hotel called the Manhattan.
I had such a great day relaxing and hanging out with Luke. I’m so glad he came to surprise me! I miss him so much it’s hard to be away from home for so long.
