Day 103: A Zero in the Tetons

Miles Hiked: 0

Total Milage: 1694.6

Today I took a zero to spend some time hanging out with my family. It was totally unplanned and unexpected but I’m so happy I did it! The first thing I did in the most was try to get ahold of Yellow Stone National Park to change our permits. It was a little stressful because I didn’t have good cell service but after so many phone calls 12 pack was able to talk to them and get it set up. On my zero day we went to check out Grand Teton National Park and ate lunch in Jackson. I had a great time hanging out with my family and relaxing. It was definitely worth taking a day off. I think it will be a long time before we see another town with enough services to justify a day off of hiking. Thanks again to my parents for taking care of us for one last day! I’m so lucky they were able to take a long vacation and come out here to visit me and help us out in so many different ways. Having support on a trail where it can be hard just to get in and out of town is such a big deal!
